I ♥ my country.

Chile is a country in South America that occupying a long, narrow coastal strip between the Andes mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. It borders Peru to the north, Bolivia to the northeast, Argentina to the east, and the Drake Passage in the far south. The Chilean territory includes the Pacific islands of Juan Fernández, Salas y Gómez and Easter Island. Chile also claims about 1,250,000square kilometres of Antarctica, although all claims are suspended under the Antarctic Treaty.

Prior to arrival of the Spanish in the 16th century, northern Chile was under Inca rule while the indigenous Mapuche inhabited central and southern Chile. Chile declared its independence from Spain on February 12, 1818. In the War of the Pacific (1879–83), Chile defeated Peru and Bolivia and won its current northern territory.

After this little introduction, in these 200 years of life for my country, I will talk about the different points that are important for the development of a country.

With regard to our origins, as we know, we are a mixed race. The Spanish who conquered our country mixed with the indigenous (primarily Mapuche), who lived south of our country. Therefore, the majority of Chileans are of Mapuche descent, but what the Mapuche culture is valued properly? Doubt.
According to the 2002 census, only indigenous people that still practiced a native culture or spoke a native language were surveyed, and 4.6% of the population (692,192 people) fit that description. Of that 4.6%, 87.3% declared themselves Mapuche. Most of the indigenous population show varying degrees of mixed ancestry.
Chile is one of the twenty countries to have signed and ratified the only binding international law concerning indigenous peoples, Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention, 1989.

Political issues: Chile is a country with political poles clearly marked by different events that occurred during these 200 years. Today, I think auneuqe 200 years have passed, even in the country are reflected past hurts that affect major political differences that divide us today.

But despite all the social issues that divide the country, I think we proved to be a strong country capable of supporting all the evidence that God wants to send, for example, earthquakes, the collapse of the miners, etc. Although I would like Chileans valued more our culture, which is precious, for homeland fiestars more cueca dance, it will take more "chicha", more traditional games will be played and will highlight our customs for other countries around us know our culture. For this and many other things, I love my country.

Reggae Music=***

Reggae is a music genre first developed in Jamaica in the late 1960s. While sometimes used in a broader sense to refer to most types of Jamaican music, the term reggae more properly denotes a particular music style that originated following on the development of ska and rocksteady.

Reggae music is very different from other musical styles in that the emphasis is placed on the off-beat, usually by a rhythm guitar, piano or synthesizer. When people dance to disco or pop music, they move in time with the bass or bass drum beat, but dancing to reggae music involves moving in time with the off-beat.
The tempo is usually quite slow and relaxed. The lyrics of reggae songs are usually influenced by politics, social situations and the Rastafarian way of life.
The lyrics of typical 'roots' reggae songs involve much reference to the Rastafarian religion. For example, 'Jah' (God) refers to the embodiment of the faith, the emperor of Ethiopia at the time the religion was founded (1930), Haile Selassie. Rastafarianism is based on parts of the Bible, but more so on what is called the 'Holy Piby' or 'black man's bible', as well as the Kebra Negast of Ethiopia.

Reggae is known for its tradition of social criticism in its lyrics, although many reggae songs discuss lighter, more personal subjects, such as love and socializing. Some reggae lyrics attempt to raise the political consciousness of the audience, such as by criticizing materialism, or by informing the listener about controversial subjects. Many reggae songs promote the use of cannabis (also known as herb), considered a sacrament in the Rastafari movement. There are many artists who utilize religious themes in their music — whether it be discussing a specific religious topic, or simply giving praise to God (Jah). Other common socio-political topics in reggae songs include black nationalism, anti-racism, anti-colonialism, anti-capitalism and criticism of political systems and "Babylon".

Some Artists that made Reggae Music popular:
• Bob Marley, The biggest Reggae star ever!, "Roots, Rock, Reggae"
• Jimmy Cliff, "The Harder They Come"
• Toots and the Maytals, Recorded first Reggae song, "Do The Reggay"
• Johnny Nash, "I Can see Clearly Now", "Stir It Up"
• Ziggy Marley, Son of Bob Marley, "Tomorrow People"

How important is the brain?

The brain is the most complex organ in the human body, and perhaps the most important.
The brain is the center of the nervous system in all vertebrate and invertebrate animals. Some primitive animals such as jellyfish and starfish have a decentralized nervous system without a brain, while sponges lack any nervous system at all.
A difference of invertebrate, in vertebrates, brain is located in the head, protected by the skull and close to the sensory apparatus of vision, hearing, balance, taste, and smell.

The brain performs an incredible number of functions:
•Controls body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate and breathing.
•It accepts all information about the world around, from various senses (seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, etc).
•Handles physical motion when walking, talking, standing or sitting.
•It lets you think, dream, reason and experience emotions.

The brain has different parts that work together. They are:
1. cerebrum
2. cerebellum
3. brain stem
4. pituitary gland
5. hypothalamus

The brain can be extremely complex. The cerebral cortex of the human brain contains roughly 15–33 billion of neurons, perhaps more, depending on gender and age, linked with up to 10,000 synaptic connections each. Each cubic millimeter of cerebral cortex contains roughly one billion synapses. These neurons communicate with one another by means of long fibers called axons, which carry signal pulses called action potentials to distant parts of the brain or body and target them to specific recipient cells.

For the great importance of this organ in the human body is essential, after learning how it works so I can know that stimulate their development and prevent any problems in it.

In my career, education that will be given to the mother of your baby's development is extremely important, is essential for fostering a positive development that will benefit the life of the new being the whole cycle.

Stress!

The stress is defined as an internal experience that creates a psychological imbalance in the individual and is the result of internal environmental factors, the organization where you work or the people around you "

Today life is constantly subjected to pressure us, that most of the time without realizing we cause varying degrees of stress, which usually manifests as a result of the frustrations caused by unmet needs or also in response to happy things, sad , physical etc. For our body, the stress has a very broad meaning, is synonymous with change, therefore, anything that causes a change in life no matter if it's good or bad, real or imagined, can cause stress.
Independent of its presentation, the stress is a widespread problem that is more evident in people with intense lifestyle and that in most cases are not aware of the problem.

The symptoms that stress are divided into two types:
1. Subjective: anxiety, depression, aggression, sleep disturbances. etc.
2. Objectives: diseases directly related to body system.

Stress often manifests itself in three stages: the first is an alarm that is expressed by muscle tension. The second strength is manifested by anxiety, tension, fatigue and finally if tension persists, comes the stage of exhaustion, where the body begins to bodily symptoms as high blood pressure, ulcers, headaches and various tables that involve the entire body . They are also very important psychopathological imbalances, such as fears, phobias, depression, personality disorders, substance abuse, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, sleep disturbances, etc.
To combat stress, the person should spend time alone to organize their activities, to pay attention to your heart, to keep in touch with nature. Other tips: if you have any concerns, talk to someone you trust, exercise regularly, say no! when asked to do something you really do not want to do.

Alternative medicine is an alternative that will make your energy and emotional imbalance back to a state of relative equilibrium. There are specific remedies to bring each of the emotional imbalances that stress occurs, reverting to improve the quality of life.

Are you for or against abortion?

The contraceptive system in our country is a very free and with many possibilities. The professional midwife in recent years has taken a fundamental role in this topic, because it's a professional with great socially committed. therefore, promote the use of contraceptives is one of their tasks, in order to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

With respect to the previous point I think this is one of the key measures of prevention in adolescents and all the sexually active population does not want to have a child, therefore, as future professional midwife I will focus my efforts on educating the population in the Use of contraceptive methods,

Are you for or against abortion?
According to my view of life, I am totally against abortion. For whatever reason, since, through the knowledge acquired at university and the conception I have of the formation of life, any human being, either 1 hour, 1 month, 1 year or 60 years, has the right to life!

In regard to the consequences of making any type of abortion, I think they are too harmful and painful for the person who has done either, only the mother (in many cases she has an abortion without the consent of his partner and without has been aware of the existence of the child), or both progenitors, because it causes psychological damage that will have to face all his life.

A new being that has been created in the womb, is a blessing from God, therefore, believe that anything that goes against destruction is an inhumane act.

Emergency contraception... Good or bad?

The topic of emergency contraception is something that engages me deeply as a future midwife.

Emergency contraception is birth control pills that are taken in special doses within the first 5 days or 120 hours after unprotected intercourse to prevent pregnancy and/or abortion. It is also used in the event that the contraceptive method has failed or is used improperly, or finally, in case more tragic as is rape.

Doctor Valenzuela thinks that these data show definite postovulatory effects of LNG EC with a probability distribution of pregnancies issued from daily intercourses within the fertile period of the menstrual cycle.

Doctor Croxato thinks that doctor Valenzuela's hypothesis is wrong because have not built mechanism of action studies. In science today, the only valid method for testing a hypothesis or answering a defined question based on scientific evidence requires an appropriate specific experimental design.

In 2006, the Ministry of Health of our country established , among other decisions, the distribution of emergency contraception to persons over 14 years in the public health system, without permission from their parents. For this reason it has been a subject of great debate, because there are those who are against this measure because they say this would violate the primary right of parents to educate their children.

From my point of view, if the parents have educated their children on sexuality and fertility based on their values, could avoid circumstances in which they have to go to the use of EC, for example, providing information on contraceptive methods

As a future health professional, I believe that the most important is to educate the population about emergency contraception, providing information that their use depends on the time of the menstrual cycle to take effect that will have, and explain that there is no scientific evidence that this is act after fertilization. Therefore, it is not abortive, and is not effective if you have already initiated a pregnancy. And lastly, encourage its use as this may prevent many unwanted pregnancies and / or abortions.

See the world from a spiritual plane*...

See the world from a spiritual plane ... a beautiful road that governs my life. It is beyond the material which governs the world today, beyond the physical that today fills television, radio, newspaper and all media. Beyond human relations ... is a connection there is the greatest thing in my life, my God.

It's being able to put all the trust that exists in you, in your hands. Let the drive your life, according to his will. Govern your act on his word, what he wants us to do. Make every decision based on what your heart dictates, nothing more.

It is to live to the best of each, in every small detail. It is knowing, and completely convinced that a small gesture can change the world. Is to help as you can with what you can.

You feel love, happiness, kindness, sincerity, honesty, strength, power, freedom, harmony within yourself. It is fighting for your ideals.

And never forget… To have true success in life is: laugh a lot and many times win the respect of intelligent people, enjoy the affection of children; gain recognition of skilled, and to be able to bear the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty; find the best others, to leave the world a little better than you found it - a happier person, knows that at least someone has been better because of you.

A lifestyle hard to explain but easy to feel. A beautiful way of looking at life that I never want to leave.
